While we all need to make weight-bearing exercises an important part of our workout routine, this is particularly true as we grow older. Cybex recently received the customer testimonial seen below from 74 year old golf-enthusiast Ames Seefeld of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. His letter highlights this point. Ames found out how time off from his fitness routine left him out of shape and hurt his golf game. Luckily for Ames and his clubs, he found Alice and the Sheboygan County YMCA near his home filled with Cybex equipment.

Dear Cybex,

ames seefeld Cybex equipment at the Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin YMCA and trainer Alice have been responsible for a remarkable turnaround in my physical and mental well-being. I'm seventy-four years old and for three years I have been doing a routine at a local fitness center. I stopped workouts two months before going South for three months of sun and golf. I walked a nine hole executive course five days a week for the three months I was there but did little else in the form of exercise. At the end of my five months off from weight bearing exercise I found that I could not get down on the floor and get back up again without help. Needless to say I was mortified and quite concerned. Once back home I joined the Falls YMCA which had  just gone through a major upgrade of their fitness center that included all new Cybex equipment.

Alice set me up with a workout routine that changed everything for me in a very short period of time. It is an enjoyable and pleasant experience. I try to go to the YMCA five days a week if my other obligations don't get in the way. Alice also told me of a golf specific program that the "Y" is partnering with at Town & Country Golf course. I signed up and after a couple of months have seen a remarkable improvement in my golf game and my increased stamina is really noticeable.

The Cybex program really works for me.
