3 Training Tips to Evolve Your Bravo Workout

We know you’re getting unmatched results with your Cybex Bravo, but with a new year comes new discoveries in the versatility of this functional trainer. Follow these key training and set-up tips to boost your workout to the next level.

  1. Variety is a fundamental principle of training – without it your results will stagnate.  The Cybex Bravo is uniquely placed to facilitate a vast amount of variety.  Try changing your typical set-up by one adjustment on either the height or width of the cables and note the difference in the challenge.
  1. Try replicating the same exercise that you usually do but with a variation in the level of Progressive Stabilization applied.  For example, if you like to do your rows free standing, use full stability with the pad high up on your chest or get your core involved and enable partial stability with the pad on your lower abdominals.
  1. Explore! Once you’ve mastered the adjustments on the Cybex Bravo, take your favorite selectorized  or free weights exercises and replicate them on the Bravo.  Discover different positions and directions of force and you’ll find significant alternatives to these exercises. This means that you will always have something up your sleeve when someone is currently using a machine right when you want to use it.

Have a great workout!
