Dumbbell Floor Press
The floor press is a dumbbell exercise designed to work the shoulder and arm muscles, while minimizing the stress on the shoulder joint by unloading the arm when it touches the ground. The exercise can be done with your feet on the floor and your knees bent, for a more stable position, or with the hips flexed and the feet in the air, for a more challenging exercise.
- Holding a dumbbell in each hand, bring your elbows down to the floor.
- Push the dumbbells up until your arms are straight in front of you.
- Slowly return to the start and repeat.
